Veronica confronts Hiram and begs him to have the charges against Archie dropped. Hiram acts like he can't do anything about it thus Veronica is forced to don a Maid's outfit and try to convince one of the members of the Jury to change his mind. She's caught by the new sheriff and chastised by her mother who tells her that she isn't alone.
